Barth White
From PDPA
Barth White began his career in decorative painting over 20 years ago. Prior to that, he received his business education at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, and in 1979, started his wallpaper business. In 1985, he expanded his business to incorporate more artist elements, and began passionately pursuing his education of faux finishes. He studied at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and studied with world-renowned artisans all over the country. In 1994, he eliminated the wallpapering side of his business and focused solely on decorative and faux painting. His most notable painting contracts include: Caesar’s palace, the Rio Hotel and Casino, The Venetian, The Paris, The Aladdin, and The Hilton Hotels and Casinos in Las Vegas.
In 1995, Barth founded Barth’s Faux Finishing Decorative Finishes School. In 2002, he expanded his training to include all of the best products in the world, rather than focusing on just one product line. This transition offered his students diversity and more complete training. Also during this time, the school was renamed Barth’s Faux Studio. Over his years in the decorative painting industry, Barth has proven himself a master in painting and education.
