The PDPA, an organization for Professional Decorative Painters, holds their first decorative painting exhibit in Colorado - A fabulous evening of art and cuisine.
Denver Colorado - May 19th
Colorado's leading professional decorative painting artisans held an exhibit on Thursday, May 8th, at the C & K Gourmet Loft, in downtown Denver. The exhibit demonstrated the artistic possibilities that decorative art and hand-painted wall coatings can add to an environment, enriching the spaces that they occupy with texture, movement and depth. Artists, Designers, and other industry professionals attended the evening event.
The PDPA (Professional Decorative Painters Association) is an organization dedicated to elevating the level of professionalism and learning in the decorative arts. The May 8th event was the first ever, collaborative showcase display bringing together the work of top professional decorative painters from across Colorado. The exhibition was a gala event created to inspire and inform Designers about the limitless possibilities of incorporating decorative painting into their interiors. C & K Gourmet, whose offerings were equally inspiring, catered the evening event.
In the next few weeks the PDPA will be printing and distributing a directory of its membership to professionals in the design trade. This will be a valuable resource for those seeking professionals who truly care about providing the highest level of artistry and craftsmanship to their clients.
The PDPA will continue to offer inspiring events to celebrate the talent of its professional level artisans. The organization also fosters the education of those wishing to attain the required skills to be a professional in the decorative painting industry.
