We are proud to have the most well respected leader of our industry Nick Cichielo as our Executive Director.
Nicholas R. Cichielo is the former CEO of the Paint & Decorating Retailers Association (PDRA), and was also publisher of the Paint & Decorating Retail and The Faux Finisher magazines.
With more than 50 years of experience in the paint and decorating industry, Cichielo began his career in a family-owned paint and wallpaper store in Queens, NY. Since that time, he has held several sales and management positions in regional and national paint companies. Prior to joining the Paint & Decorating Retailers Association, he was president of Dutch Boy Paints, at the time owned by NL Industries. Cichielo has been with the PDRA for more than 25 years.
A dynamic industry speaker, Cichielo has made many presentations at trade shows, corporate sales meetings and awards programs. Always interesting, his presentations include the results of extensive retailer sales and consumer awareness market surveys.
