Meeting of the Masters, 2007

Addison TX, October 27-28, 2007 The Meeting of the Masters is a not-for-profit event that was conceived as a gathering of fine and decorative artisans to provide an educational forum that celebrates the industry and inspires professionals to continue their education in faux and decorative finishing, bring their skills to new levels and optimize their potential for success in the industry. The Faux Event

Broomfield CO /Akron OH/Jan. 18, 2007 In a joint statement, Bob Wieber, President/CEO of National Business Media Inc. (NBM), an established producer of trade shows and a leader in trade magazine publishing, along with John Catalanotto and Greg Frohnapfel of Pro Faux Inc., recently announced that the acquisition of The Faux Event by NBM has been completed. Catalanotto and Frohnapfel will continue to teach at The Faux Event in seminars and workshops, as well as serving as consultants to NBM. NBM Event's Susan Hueg, CEM/CMP, will provide strategic direction and day-to-day show management. "We are enthusiastic about the opportunities for The Faux Event as an NBM production," stated Catalanotto and Frohnapfel, "NBM has the talent and the resources to take the event to the next level of professionalism."

Under NBM's professional show management team, The Faux Event will continue to provide during its fifth year the key ingredients it is well known for since its inception in 2002, along with other show upgrades and cutting-edge opportunities.
